BBC blocks a third of Europe from accessing their news service

BBC News is now inaccessible if you are using an adblocker. Statisa [1] data shows that around a third of Europeans use adblocking software. They are all now blocked from accessing BBC News. The number of worldwide people the BBC have banned from accessing their website is in the hundreds of millions.

Funny you should say that. My method of reading the various news feeds is to scan the main page and select the articles that look interesting out to separate tabs to read later.

I've noticed over the last six months or so that it's becoming very rare for me to select even ONE article per day.

I use adblocking and turn off JavaScript and can access their site fine.
