This podcast was a good listen. One of the authors/hosts, Steven Levitt, worked at a consulting firm when he first got out of school. I don't think anyone would dispute that these firms employ smart and talented people, but that doesn't mean they are worth the amount of money they earn to advise companies that they need do something that is, uh, sort of obvious.
