Another option you might wnat to look at is itelescope.com . They're an Internet Based Remote Astronomy Company. They've got a bunch of telescopes based around the world which you can try out. You might^ be able to infer the characteristics of a telescope you like, and the types of astronomy you enjoy by using their service. ^I'm a total newb here. But I did do my highschool work experience at Sydney Observatory. I could imagine that there are factors that might mean that you get better results on their service than in real life. |
