Should I expect problems if I share my Netflix movie or Sky Sports soccer match with invited guests who don't have their own subscription? I mean, it's fine to invite friends round for the game or a film etc (I think - except for the current pandemic), but is there a limit to numbers?

You probably have every right to show the content privately, so your event can not open to the public. I have no idea if rebroadcasting changes things, but if it's not illegal in principle, sharing it privately should not be a problem.
