When I'm recommending it to friends I direct them to https://duck.com. Easy to remember.

Interestingly enough duck.com was owned by Google and they transferred the ownership to DuckDuckGo.

I'd also add https://start.duckduckgo.com which is intended as start page and does not contain the suggestion to add it as default search engine.
