If you enjoy it, one easy way to also contribute is with the StreetComplete app, which just asks you questions like "is this street lit" (my girlfriend actually asked me for that data once, if I knew how to figure out which roads are lit, so she could go running after dark and plan a good distance without going into dark areas).
