Similarly, there is way too much emphasis on taking heroic doses, or achieving "ego death." When someone gives a trip report after some reasonable dose, say 150ug of LSD, almost always someone will egg them on that they really should be doing much more than that if they really want to experience what it has to offer. Chainsaws are really great tools and I'm glad I have one, but every time I use it I treat it with respect and view it with a healthy amount of fear of what can go wrong. |
