Yes, it’s a myth that they are “instantly” addicting. I don’t deny the drug is powerful, but you have to want it. If it were true that it was instantly physically addictive, then literally every human being that has ever had any kind of surgery or been to the ER for trauma would be a rabid opioid zombie. But they aren’t. |
