Anti trust case against Apple in the US made sense due to Apple's dominance in both the share of users and the share of the app store revenue. EU may not be as clearcut. This news article does not mention anything about the basis for antitrust. Is it the marketshare of iOS phone users or it is the revenue. Seems like iOS marketshare as defined by the number of users is about 20%, revenue share should be higher. |
