Relevance: Does the GPL license attach to modified neural net weights? (I do not know). Stockfish NNUE, the world's strongest chess engine, is GPLv3 licensed. Fat Fritz 2 is a commercial fork with modified, undisclosed neural net weights (the Stockfish project alleges). |
