Yes, I see and use sequence diagrams, class diagrams, state machines diagrams inspired by UML or even sometimes correct UML once in a while. UML hasn't been as successful as some people thought it would be, but if you want to draw a diagram related to some software, you are very likely to use some kind of concepts defined in UML (and others). |
