It wouldn't even required to purchase or transfer the IP at all, the governments should just fund the setup of the necessary production capabilities and lease them to BioNTech/Pfizer and Moderna at basically zero costs. Vaccine production is still far to low to vaccinated the whole world population any time soon and only then we can prevent the creation of new mutant strains. |
