Yes. Which is why it's a fine approach in the free market fir someone actively choosing to be a freelancer not an employee. But employment (or rather the thing that the vast majority of people get paid via, which is normal employment right now) is protected because the vast majority of people get paid cia it. we want most people to have a reliable income stream for social reasons. Setting employee vs employee is not a good path for that. |
