If you are looking for a more feature-rich markdown editor may I suggest Drafts [1]. The free version is a very useful, feature rich Markdown editor and the paid subscription unlocks incredible automation functionality.
I don't need that, though, I will keep an eye on Writer and see how (a) what it costs and (b) what features it gets upgraded with.
