I often wonder in some markets if there isn’t an opportunity for a Leica M6 approach. Here is a well built analog object that should last generations. Perhaps the analogy fails when you think about the supporting characters, film development, tractor parts, but it does seem a market luddites version of “x” exists. |

At some point you do need someone else's technology tree (like an engine case).
And at that point, I think computers can simplify things.
There are all kinds of things that work better if you have a wire and a solenoid, as opposed to a mechanical linkage, or a bundle of individual wires or a vacuum line.
