When you've activated the Hidden app, and the computer is taking pictures, does the little green light turn on when the camera is on?

I've always heard that the status LED is hardwired into the webcam, so that there is absolutely no way for software to prevent it from turning on when the webcam is active. So yes. It would probably be a very brief flash, though.

Yes it does. The light on the MBP is wired to light up when the camera has power.
