Either the dealers eat the club or the club eats the dealers. The dealers ate the Hacienda. It's over as soon as the club has to hire enforcers to keep the dealers in line - because the enforcers are also hired by the same dealers. And that gets... complicated. It's a fair bet it's the other way around for the headline clubs in Europe, and possibly a few US cities (NY, etc). This may suggest interesting things about who ultimately owns/manages those clubs. |
