I think you missed the (a bit pedantic) joke about units
Oops, you're right.
1 MB = 1 megabyte

1 Mb = 1 megabit

1 mB = 1 millibyte

1 mb = 1 millibit

1 mB = 1 millibucket
In Europe a megabit is usually written mbit
Most providers these days round up to the next full bit, though. Some even charge by the byte!
