Over the years Alma has been diversifying into other areas such as sheet cutting, 3D robots programming (e.g. for welding), IT services and health-care: https://www.alma.fr/en/ Alma is a cooperative: a new employee becomes an associate one year after joining. All shareholders are employees and at the shareholder meeting each associate has 1 vote (regardless of their seniority/capital). You must speak French or be willing to learn it: English would be ok for technical discussions but less practical for coffe-break discussions, shareholders meetings, etc.
