I've heard it called : dancing with the dragon. Refers to the 'power' it gives to developers to soar high on a dragon and wield unknown riches and promise for a time. Then sometime the dragon coughs, and well you get burned to a crisp ... Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, Youtube are all dragons (naming only those). |
