I've been here a couple of times (and often I find myself back in the grind without realising it). 1. Stop staying late. There will always be more work to do, another email to send, something else to debug or test. Leave it until the next day and go spend time with yourself, family and friends. 2. If you feel overloaded, list out your work tasks and prioritise. If you are any good at your job, you will have an infinite list of things to do. So a prioritised list is an absolute must-have. 3. Have quality downtime. This means reduced screen time, good exercise, spend time with family, friends etc., other hobbies etc. |
