I think this was introduced in response to google scraping the data from your gmail. But I'll also add to the list of darkness: Different prices on Alexa VS actually checking the site. On Alexa, massively prioritising their own brands VS others. (check out Scott Galloway's tests) They're also a case study on darkpatterns.org for how difficult it is to cancel. |
