perhaps we can add "name-dropping logical fallacies" itself as a logical fallacy X: We shouldn't listen to health experts! They got it wrong at the beginning of the pandemic when they told us not to buy or wear masks, and therefore they are wrong now too! Y: Wait, that doesn't make sense. X: Strawman!
