1. There's a good chance that the malware has updated your browsers preferences, especially if you're using Chrome (which syncs preferences/profiles). To test this, you can try using a different browser and see if they have the same problems. 2. If you're a Google/Gmail/GSuite user I'd suggest that you log out of all sessions by following the instructions in https://support.google.com/mail/answer/8154?co=GENIE.Platfor... 3. I wouldn't count out Best Buy/micro center/whatever. Many of the computer support calls they encounter are around removing malware |
