As a passenger, how noisy are the planes?

Very noisy. I've flown on them a couple times from Nanaimo. They pass out earplugs to every passenger, and you need them. I think the electric ones will be much quieter.

Most of the noise of a prop-driven airplane is the propellor, not the engine. Electrics will be quieter, but not sure they will be "much" quieter.
