That headline is a bit clickbaity, no? It is technically accurate, but the danger is specific to people with certain types of implanted medical equipment, and the risk comes from the magnets in the device, as opposed to some fault or otherwise.

I suppose "Apple publishes warning documentation about interference with medical equipment when using devices with magnets inside" doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Especially when the text specifies that "they’re not expected to pose a greater risk of magnetic interference to medical devices than prior iPhone models."

I think the title might do a good job in this case since most people do not read the small print of the user manuals of the devices. Now if you or someone in your family has such a medical device you might be a bit more carefull where you set the phone when charging.
