Yeah, we received several reports that most gopher: clients can't access gnuradio.org, either.

Obviously, we'll reduce the security for all of our users to suite these who want to use a bleeding edge signal processing toolkit on a machine running internet explorer 6.

I hate to annoy you because I love GR and use it every day, but...

A potential HTTPS to HTTP downgrade attack on www.gnuradio.org is not reducing the security of all of your users significantly. The wiki with logins is on it's own subdomain which could remain HTTPS only. You distribute the code from github already. As far as I can tell www.gnuradio.org is just a press release site these days.
