True, but proxying an app you use heavily to transition to a new platform can be useful. In any case, YouTube alternatives like LBRY have way better apps for android. Element (matrix chat) is also 100x better on android. I can only imagine that android is easier to develop on and get approved, even for more experimental apps like Manyverse (secure-scuttlebutt twitter). |
