Jargon is just a time-saving and precision measure. Try doing without it sometime - it's painful. It is totally unavoidable as long as people keep communicating with words. The better solution is not to complain about it, but to ask for definitions (recursively) - and then you can reap the time-saving and precision benefits of the terminology, too. |
