It’s it a running (almost) joke that nobody actually knows C++? I have not met anybody that work with the whole language and not only a subset.

Just like I bet most will fail a pub quiz using C17, C# 9, Java 15, F# 5, VB 16, Python 3.9 as base input for the question pool.
