I would say neither 'government' nor a 'union' are the answers in this case. In the mostly free-market based economy that we live in today (thinking of the USA and most European countries) the proper solution is to 'vote with your dollar' and go with a provider other than Google. This increases market competition and incentivizes Google to improve their services. |
