One could find arguments for both sides, though: - HN is not a crowd, it's a niche community - Voting is not blind even now. - The number actually encourages voting, since it serves to remind that your vote will change than number - It's good to know whether your vote will have little impact or will move the comment upwards - The site should encourage more people to vote, the more people vote the better. |
