1plus1meet was posted to a student Facebook group for my university. The use of Jitsi Meet, an open platform, seems like a great idea! I'm totally blind, and the way it works has some very nice accessibility implications. The sound of a person's voice is, to many of us, an important factor in physical attraction. Being able to find this out almost immediately, without needing to flip through pictures and barely-accessible profiles, is huge for us – this service finally levels the playing field! |
