Agreed, the first half of MLK’s famous “a riot is a language of the unheard” quote states that the conditions existing in America which foment riots “must be condemned as vigorously as we condemn riots.” Our collective goal should always be to resolve the conditions that lead to rioting. But when a riot occurs it should be stopped and dispersed as safely and expediently as possible. |
