That's not the case for offshore though. In these farms 6MW+ are the norm for the last 4-6 years. Most under construction at the moment ~8MW+. If you look at under consideration / planning status ones they are 10MW+ (eg. UK North sea's Dogger Bank phase A and B are 13MW planned for 2024)

You're right, but it's important to note that offshore is only about 1/10 of the global wind power industry.
