However, there is an element of truth in the fact that the Biden campaign succeeded in coopting liberal civil rights people after the election. IMO they should continue to fight hard against state oppression, which will continue regardless of the face of power.
That did take the heat off a lot too. Whatever happened after Trump won would probably last until temperatures fell to below freezing at which point only very committed people would be out there, which isn't the millions in the streets we saw over the summer.
It's hard to say how much property destruction there might have been, but tbh I don't really care because property is replaceable.
