They are using a light fork with most patches improving font rendering/anti-aliasing https://github.com/JetBrains/jdk8u https://github.com/JetBrains/JetBrainsRuntime

I used Intellij years ago on Linux, nice to know that they improved font rendering. It was really ugly back then.

I'm surprised the JVM itself would be concerned with such things? That seems like it would be a standard library fork
