Ask HN: Any cool things I can use my spare VPS bandwidth for?

I have a VPS but I only use it to host my blog. Since it's a $5 VPS in DigitalOcean (1G RAM, 1 vCPU, 25G SSD), it's not really feasible for distributed projects [1] that requires large computational resources.

However, I would like to utilize my 1TB network traffic quota. Is there any cool things (especially for charitable purpose) I can try with the extra bandwidth I have?
