The Fountainhead, but not for the cult reasons. I found it a beautiful book about staying true to your vision / life even when the rest of the world is giving you shit and trying to shut you down. I love Atlas Shrugged for the same reason. I read it as the importance of doing what you love, even in the face of massive adversity. Read them multiple times in my late teens / early 20s. |
