I knew about googleanalytics; some years ago, back when browsers still had a status bar at the bottom, I noticed many sites waiting on it. So I redirected that domain to 127.0.0.1 and went on my way noticeably faster.

I'd not encountered Amazon Publisher Services but this article makes them look very bad.
