In one case, he lobbied the FDA to not approve a drug. Not because it wasn't safe, or effective. In fact it was safe, and effective, and cheaper than alternatives out there. It's that it wasn't -his- drug. His company had the market-leading alternative. So he lobbied against approving safer medicine because it would cost him profit. |
