I am surprised that to prevent ewaste, device manufacturers are not forced to provide more updates, or open source modules. A modern mobile is very capable - but you are limited to a couple of major updates, then that's it. Eventually apps stop supporting your version of android. Then inthe bin it goes - although the camera is great and it can playback 4K video. |
