DAWs or digit audio workstations are for editing sound. In music, that can mean needing to load a 100G file into RAM to get a convincing orchestra or piano sample. So I have a MacPro I bought earlier this year with 384G RAM but... Thanks to blog posts like yours I am also buying a 16G M1 MacBook Pro for general purpose uses such as web development! |
