Does anyone know if SCMP's coverage has become more pro-China after the recent 'National Security Laws' that were enacted in Hong Kong?

Pieces like this are especially interesting when viewed through a Chinese lens.

The article was actually authored by Agence France-Presse, SCMP is just licensing their content. You can get the exact same text from elsewhere, e.g. https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20201213-workers-riot-...

So you might want to ask yourself whether AFP's coverage has become more pro-China after the recent 'National Security Laws' that were enacted in Hong Kong.

The decision of which wire service stories to run is an editorial choice, too.
This is a widely reported piece. Not sure why an SCMP link is posted. If you're concerned - you should check other sources.

It’s been pro ccp since the buyout of the news paper
Crap, just learned Alibaba bought them out in '15. They have some good overseas editors that cover local topics that local media just doesn't cover well.
