Happened to me. Switched to digital marketing. I really like it. I still code sometimes but it's never more than 20% of my week. Had to learn basic design, UX, CMSs, CRMS, CDPs, marketing automation etc. Long story short, there is a huge shortage of competent digital folks in the marketing world. I really like the work and the pay is similar. |
