Stability. The software in CentOS is not the newest, but has been tested thoroughly. Fedora is cutting edge, basically the testing release for the RHEL family. What is Fedora today will eventually become a RHEL/CentOS release down the road. CentOS and RHEL are identical, but RHEL comes with support. |
