I know I've been testy with a coworker or junior before but its so counter productive to have a workplace with fear. Process can lead to trust and confidence so I try to focus on identifying and improving that (as well as mentoring around risky patterns and such.) Test, reviews, tooling etc. If simple mistakes are effecting the team, its really a process failure. Fear driven development is toxic. |
