There is no bright line between passively hosting content (in which case your site will become a magnet for spam and trolls) and "curating" content. Repealing Section 230 means making a pro-trump discussion forum would open you up to liability: you cannot ban or moderate anti-trump posters because that's "curation". The law was deliberately broad and that's a good thing for free speech. |
