First of all I should think copyright only restricts publishing, not reading. Obviously if you put a price on your book I have to pay it, but that's a different issue. Secondly the Internet is best viewed as a public noticeboard purely because of the way the protocol works. There's just no getting around that. I think you'd agree that putting up a notice on a street corner and then getting offended when people read it would be viewed as rather odd, if not something else. |
