I hope browsers implement 103 early hints. I’d like to tell the browser to preload assets while the server is still working on the response, which may take a significant amount of time to determine if the response is 200, 401, or 404.

I was seriously thinking the domain name was a play on an HTTP status code: "Ever Tea Pot", but went to the root and it is just the guys name "Evert Pot".
Evert here =) first and last name are dutch. I moved to Canada and joked about naming my son Jack ;)

I didn't like my name growing up, but as an adult I'm grateful I have a kinda weird but more memorable name.

It's certainly a better name to have than John Smith, Joe Bloggs, or Karen.
It is definitely for discoverability!
You're confusing him with his wife, Ima T.
I was thinking the same thing
Yes to me 103 is more exciting then even HTTP3.

Do we know if Safari, Chrome and Firefox even plan to have it implemented?

None at this stage. Chrome did add some instrumentation a few versions back to collect data and decide wether it's worth implementing.

Problem is: who's going to bother sending early hints if it doesn't improve performance?
